Liz is the founder of RockPoint Climbing, a Kenya-based social enterprise that uses climbing as a catalyst for positive transformation by sparking regenerative leadership, health, wellness, and economic empowerment. She also founded Climbing Life Kenya, a non-profit investing in the growth of rock climbing for the next generation of climbers in Kenya, and serves on the board of Mwamba Climbing, Uganda’s first climbing gym startup. Liz is a firm believer in the potential of rock climbing as a tool for meaningful impact. In her previous roles as Africa Regional Coordinator and Impact Consultant at The Global Climbing Initiative, she supported emerging climbing communities and convened 30+ climbing leaders from across Sub-Saharan Africa in a cross-border forum for mentoring and collaboration. A quantity surveyor, project manager and mentor with over two decades’ experience, she brings to the team a systems approach, visioning and strategic insight, mentorship, and a strong understanding of the African climbing ecosystem.
