Thank you for your interest in supporting The Global Climbing Initiative’s mission. We are grateful for the outreach we receive from talented individuals around the world looking to contribute to our goals of supporting and uniting the global climbing community. As a small nonprofit, we do not always have the bandwidth to add volunteers to our team. However, you may review our requested areas of support below and follow the instructions at the bottom of the page to reach out if you think you could be a fit.

CURRENT AREAS OF NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS

Gear Distribution Project (Colorado, United States)

Our Gear Distribution Project is seeking a manager for a 2-5 hour per week commitment managing and documenting our gear inventory, communicating with communities submitting gear applications, setting inventory goals to inform our requests to sponsors, and preparing and sending packages. This volunteer role cannot be virtual/remote due to the location of our gear inventory (Broomfield, Colorado).

To share your interest in volunteering for GCI, send a resume and cover letter to info@globalclimbing.org. Please ensure your cover letter clearly describes why you are passionate about supporting GCI’s mission and which of our areas of need you would like to volunteer in (clearly painting a picture of what your contribution might look like and the strengths and skills that would make you an asset to GCI).

If you are not a fit with the current volunteer opportunities we have listed here, but you have other skills we may not have considered, please feel free to describe this in your letter so we can be aware for potential future opportunities.

Please note that any outreach not following these guidelines will not be considered.
