Please note that our Project Proposal is invitation-only, extended to select applicants who have submitted an an Initial Application and are selected to submit a Project Proposal via Google Form. Please do not send a proposal via email.

Project overview

In 300-400 words, please describe your proposed project, including the problem or need your project aims to address, what your project will involve, who it will impact, and how those impacts will occur. Be sure to explain the “why” behind your project and how it will create positive changes related to your selected grant category.

Project plan

In 200-300 words, clearly outline your project plan, including your key activities, goals, and expected results.

Team and responsibilities

List each person involved in the project, what actions they will specifically be responsible for, and what relevant experience or expertise they bring to help strengthen this project. Please include all organization leaders, staff, volunteers, advisors, and/or outside experts who are helping you shape this project. Make sure you are included in this list.

Please provide adequate detail and explain why this collective of people has the capacity and expertise to successfully accomplish this project. Please clearly indicate who will be responsible for each major aspect of the project.

Community and identity representation

Who on your project team are members of the community or identity group(s) that your project aims to serve? Please describe how their lived experiences and connections to the community will inform the design and direction of your project.

Timeline

Provide a timeline of key project milestones and deadlines. Projects for the Spring 2026 grant cycle must take place between April and September 2026.

Monitoring

Please describe your plan for monitoring the project throughout the grant cycle. How will you stay engaged in the project’s progress (for example: regular check-ins, site visits, internal tracking tools, or community feedback sessions)?

Metrics and outcomes

Please list the qualitative and quantitative metrics you plan to gather to assess the impact of your project. Please include metrics that are realistic given the project scope and timeline.

How much funding are you requesting (in US dollars)?

Up to $1,000 in the environmental and social impact categories. Up to $2,000 in the economic development category.

Itemized budget

Present a budget (in US dollars) explaining how the requested funds would be allocated. Budgets should be realistic and proportionate to the scope of the proposed project.

All applicants who submit a Project Proposal will receive a notification of their application status on March 18.
