Development & Partnerships Strategist
Silver is the Development & Partnerships Strategist for the Global Climbing Initiative, where she leads grant partner engagement and contributes to the development and growth of GCI's programs. She works closely with climbing organizations around the world to support project implementation, strengthen relationships, identify lessons learned, and ensure GCI's investments create meaningful and lasting impact.
With a Master’s degree in Human Rights from the London School of Economics, Silver brings a strong background in international organizations, philanthropy, and research. Alongside her role at GCI, she works at Arabella Advisors, where she manages a diverse portfolio of social impact projects, navigating complex grantmaking processes and stakeholder engagement to drive positive change.
In addition to her professional work, Silver is a passionate climber and global traveler. As a freelance writer for Melanin Base Camp, she creates content that elevates the voices of BIPOC adventurers, focusing on climbing, hiking, and international travel. Her writing promotes inclusion in the outdoor industry, with a particular emphasis on travel guides and climbing resources.
Silver is particularly interested in advancing climbing education, stewardship, and leadership development. She is dedicated to using climbing as a means to build community, expand opportunity, and facilitate knowledge exchange.
