Gear Distribution Program
In many countries, climbing gear is unavailable or unaffordable — a barrier that shapes who can climb and how local communities grow.
Our Gear Distribution Program supports climbing organizations that are:
Locally led and deeply connected to their community
Outside the continental U.S. (or represent a Native American community)
Working to create positive economic, social, or environmental impact in their community through climbing
Face major challenges accessing essential safety gear
If your climbing organization meets this criteria, we invite you to submit an application for our Gear Distribution program.
Our next gear distribution cycle is expected to take place in Summer 2026.
Email gear@globalclimbing.org with any questions.
